The thing is, salads come in hundreds and hundreds of forms.. so you can make anything you’re craving into something healthy. Wether you want a taco so you make a taco salad, or you feel like something more fruity, salad is the answer. Salad is one of the most versatile foods. So this is your guide to delicious salads to try out instead of the basic Caesar.
Peaches n’ Cheese

Ingredients for Salad
4 ripe peaches
5 oz goat cheese
4 slices prosciutto
1 tbsp toasted hazelnuts, chopped
2 tsp lemon juice
2 oz frisée
Ingredients for Dressing
4 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp hazelnut oil
2 tbsp red wine vinegar
1/2 tsp sugar
Salt and pepper
Directions
- Mix ingredients for dressing in a bowl to make the dressing
- Cut peaches into slices and add olive oil and lemon juice into a bowl with the peaches
- season peaches lightly with salt and pepper
- set pan on stove at medium heat and cook the peaches for 2-3 minutes, until they are slightly charred and soft
- chop frisée and add the peaches, dressing, crumbled goat cheese and rest of the ingredients

Fig & Brie Salad

Ingredients for Salad
10 slices brie cheese
2 ripe figs
2-3 cups Romaine lettuce or Arugula
1/4 cup walnuts
1 peach
Optional pansies flowers
Ingredients for Dressing
2 tbsp squeezed lemon juice
4 tbsp virgin olive oil
Salt and pepper
Directions
- Trim the stems of figs, and slice into quarters
- Cut brie cheese into 10 slices
- Slice peaches into preferred sections
- mix all ingredients together except pansies
- Whisk lemon juice, olive oil, and salt and pepper together to make dressing
- Pour dressing over salad
- Sprinkle optional pansies flowers on top
- Enjoy!
Greek Salad

Ingredients for Salad
1 Head or stalk of lettuce
2 tbsp diced red onion
2 tbsp diced green pepper
1/4 cup diced cucumber
1/4 cup feta cheese
1/4 cup seeded olives
Ingredients for Dressing
Store-bought Feta Greek Dressing
OR
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
- Juice of 2 lemons
- 3 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon fresh or dried basil
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano leaves
- 1/2 teaspoon marjoram or Italian seasoning
- 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
- Salt and pepper
Whisk all ingredients together, and mix with salad!
